Predictive text is an odd source of inspiration.
I recently went to type the word “lazy” and my phone suggested “jazz.”
O the poignance!

Poignant maybe…but also ironic, for jazz is anything but lazy.
Hmm… but would it not be true to say that much jazz has, through a process of much hard work, been made to sound “lazy”…?
Predictive text also substitutes the word ‘shot’ for ‘pint’. Handy, as enough of either will ultimately produce the same results.
It also substitutes another word in place of ‘pint’. Many times I have inadvertently suggested to my friends that we meet up for a riot after work.
And coincidentally, too many of them of an evening will also leave you with a bit of a headache the following morning.
And they can both get you arrested! (maybe)
